On December 16th 2009, Crime Stoppers Barbados hosted the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Darwin Dottin and other key Stakeholers to cocktails at the Accra Beach Resort & Spa. Invited guests were Mr. Lars Soderstrom, General Manager of the Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation, Mr. David Rice, Chief Executive Officer, Barbados Tourism Authority and Mr. Alex Mc Donald, Country Manager, LIME. In attendance were Deputy Commissioner Bertie Hinds,Commandant Mark Thompson and Supt. Livingston Eversley of Royal Barbados Police Force. The function also provided the opportunity for guests to meet the new interim Board of Crime Stoppers Barbados.

Commissioner Dottin thanked Crime Stoppers Barbados  for its support over the last year and noted that the crime stopper mechanism provided much assistance to his staff.

Anthony Phillips, Chairman of Crime Stoppers Barbados pledged the organization`s continued support to the Royal Barbados Police Force.
